Board Certified Physician Consultants for File Review

Department: Network Consultant
Location: Remote Role

Job Summary:
Brown & Brown Absence Services Group, LLC is seeking Board Certified Physician Consultants for File Review to join our network of professionals. As a leading provider of absence management solutions, we offer a range of services including Claims Management Solutions, Talent Solutions, Disability Advisory Services, and SSDI Advocacy Services. By joining our network, you will have the opportunity to supplement your clinical practice with remote and on-site work, flexible hours, and the support of training and mentoring.

Qualifications:
- ABMS or AOA Board Certification in a Specialty
- Active, unrestricted physician licensure in at least one US State
- Must be a permanent resident of a US state or territory
- Minimum of 5 years in practice
- Must maintain at least half-time clinical practice currently

  • PM&R with Pain Medicine (Dual Boarded)
  • Occupational Medicine with Internal Medicine (Dual Boarded)
  • Occupational Medicine with Pain Management (Dual Boarded)
  • Oncology with Hematology (Dual Boarded)
  • PM&R with Pain Management and Occupational Medicine (Tri-Boarded)
  • PM&R with Pain Management and Neurology (Tri-Boarded)


Responsibilities:
As a Board Certified Physician Consultant with Brown & Brown, you will have the advantage of consulting through an established insurance brokerage firm that has evolved to using approved vendors for file review jobs. You will become part of a group of highly regarded disability claim reviewers and gain ease of entry into the field. Additionally, we handle administrative tasks, assist with quality control and audit, negotiate contracts and billing, provide a streamlined file submission process, and offer training, mentoring, and ongoing partnership with our quality review team. With our extensive penetration into the disability insurance market, you will have access to a stream of work that is already vetted and negotiated for you.
